WHere is a simplified version of a beverage found on our latest drinks list. Designed as a batch prepared mix which is bursting with the flavours of the holiday season, making it ideal for your festive gathering. Any leftover cordial you can use for brunch beverages, puddings, or for more rounds of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Cocktail (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
For the Cordial: Combine the listed items into a pan, bring to a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, turn off the heat and let it to cool entirely. Transfer into a clean bottle, seal and store chilled, it will last for around one month.
To make Batch Mix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup into a large bottle, leave to sit for an hour, then pass it through , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of your premix to a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate carefully for a minute to chill. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
